I guess a little introduction is in order. After all, all these trees and plants and flowers that I write about didn't come out of nowhere. Meet the Big Kahuna. The Man-Who-Plants. He who mows the grass, lays down the slug bait, moves pots and wheelbarrows around, "borrows" cuttings from certain parks and gardens, sorts out the compost, and -- most splendidly -- runs 10ks and half marathons in his spare time. AND, on top of it all, he also appreciates my cooking!

Hope so too Haze! We hope to visit Europe soon, especially his 'other country', Switzerland. When that happens France will be on the itinerary too!
